CARY MEADOW is the Chairman and CEO of Grade 6 Oil, LLC and its affiliated oil and gas entities. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Patriot Environmental Services, Inc. Mr. Meadow has been involved in the private equity industry, with a focus on the energy and infrastructure industries, for 20 years, including as Head of M&A for k1 Ventures, Ltd., a publicly traded investment company listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange. He additionally serves on the Board of Directors of Pavement Recycling Systems, Inc., and on the Investment Committee and Pension Committee at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Mr. Meadow has a B.B.A in Finance from University of Texas – Austin and a J.D. from the USC Gould School of Law.
CLINTON WALKER currently serves as the COO of Grade 6 Oil. Prior to Grade 6 Oil, he was a General Partner at Clarity Partners, a private equity firm focused on the communications sector. Prior to joining Clarity in 2000, Mr. Walker was the Vice President of Corporate Development at Global Crossing analyzing and executing mergers, acquisitions and strategic investments. Previously, Mr. Walker was a Vice President at Pacific Capital Group, a private merchant bank, where he participated in numerous transactions including the formation of Global Crossing, OpTel and Campuslink. Mr. Walker started his career at Price Waterhouse in the Entrepreneurial Services Group and later the Corporate Finance Group. Mr. Walker holds a BBA degree from Pacific Union College, is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive status) and is a Board Member at TPx Communications and Vaca Energy.
PAUL KROMWYK currently serves as the CFO of Grade 6 Oil, Grade 5 Oil and Sunny Frog Oil, joining in June 2017, and is responsible for the finance, accounting, risk management and administration functions. Prior to this, Paul served as the CFO of Patriot Environmental Services, a private equity owned business, since March 2014, and also served on the board of Patriot. Paul has nearly 20 years of experience in finance, M&A, capital raising, private equity and senior management and has worked across a wide range of industry sectors. Prior to his CFO roles, Paul served as an investment banker for nearly 12 years, including on Wall Street for Credit Suisse and in Sydney, Australia for Greenhill. Paul began his career in Sydney as a strategy consultant for LEK Consulting, Paul has a Bachelors of Commerce and Law from the University of Queensland and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
BEN MENDES joined Grade 6 Oil, LLC in June 2018 as the VP of Operations. Prior to Grade 6, Ben spent 10 years in upstream oil and gas operations with Berry Petroleum and Linn Energy, mostly focused on heavy oil recovery in California. Ben holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Santa Barbara. In addition, he is pursuing his Masters in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. He expects to complete this degree in 2019.
LOU TIJAM joined Grade 6 Oil, LLC in July 2018. Prior to Grade 6, Lou worked at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group in Global Capital Markets covering the FX, Interest Rate Derivatives, Commodities, Structured Products, and Total Return Swap desks, then transitioned to Corporate Finance & Strategy covering Investment Banking and Markets. Lou began his career in Bank of America in Corporate Finance – Agency Mortgage Backed Securities. Lou graduated from University of California, San Diego in 2010 and holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and minor in Math.
GABRIELA MENDEZ joined Grade 6 Oil, LLC in August 2018 as Project Manager. Prior to this, Gabriela worked at Ares Management in the Information Technology department supporting the CTO, Principal of Infrastructure and various other executives. Gabriela holds a bachelor’s degree in International Studies with a focus in Latin America and a minor in French from California State University, Long Beach.
MARGUERITE KINGSLEY joined Grade 6 Oil, LLC in November 2018 as Executive Assistant. Prior to joining Grade 6, Marguerite worked at Latham & Watkins, LLP for 4 years, first in the Litigation department as a Project Assistant supporting attorney’s and later moving into the Operations department supporting both the Operations Manager and Facilities Manager. Prior to Latham she was an Executive Assistant at Integrated Components Source, Inc. for 4 years.
Marguerite graduated from Gonzaga University in 2010 and holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in History. She also attended the University of California, Los Angeles where she received a Paralegal Studies Certificate in 2014.
DENISE BOSHERS currently serves as the Controller of Grade 6 Oil LLC, joining in November 2018. Prior to this, Denise served as Controller of Berry Petroleum, a publicly traded Independent E&P Company since July 2017. Denise is a Certified Public Accountant in California, earning her license in 2001 and has nearly 20 years of accounting and auditing experience for both publicly traded and privately held companies. Denise began her career at Deloitte & Touche after receiving her Bachelors of Arts degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
SCOTT PARDUE currently serves as the Assistant Controller of Grade 6 Oil LLC, joining in February 2019. Scott has more than 12 years of experience in the oil and gas industry including a total of 8 years at Berry Petroleum, a publicly traded Independent E&P Company, during two different stints. During those 12 years, he has worked in various roles from tax to production/revenue and recently an Accounting Manager at SandDollar Financial, an outsource accounting firm specializing in oil and gas companies. Scott began his career at Berry Petroleum Company in 2006 while finishing his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration Finance/Accounting from California State University, Bakersfield.
ERIC DHANENS joined Grade 6 in March 2019 as the Director of Engineering. Eric has 8+ years of engineering experience in upstream oil and gas operations with Berry Petroleum and Linn Energy. He spent time in Operations, Production, and Reservoir Engineering, covering all aspects of heavy oil asset development, and most recently as an Engineering Lead. Eric also served as the Director of R&D with the start-up CAPCO, designing and scaling up a system to upgrade heavy oil using advanced distillation. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Masters in Global Energy Management from the University of Colorado.
